Game Introduction

Through Light Odyssey, our intention was for players to experience the contrast in scale between the world and the colossus. To maximize this experience, we depicted the character as small and the world as vast in the top-down view. We wanted both the protagonist and the player to feel like being weak beings in the world, but we developed the game that they can experience the relentless pursuit of challenges with perseverance and a sense of purpose as heroic figures. Furthermore, we aimed to create an aesthetically beautiful game. We enhanced the visuals using light and darkness, simplicity, and density as themes. As a developer and a gamer, we made efforts to enjoy an atmospheric world and find inspiration once again. Within the game, there are symbols and devices such as ancient languages, which carry meaning and can evoke curiosity and intrigue on their own.
